BIO-1 Buzz
                                                                                 August 2008

Dear Readers
We hope you enjoy this month’s issue of Bio-1 Buzz, our monthly e-newsletter to connect you with news, events and programs throughout the WIRED (Workforce Innovation in Regional Economic Development) Bio-1 region. The summer has been very busy and productive for Bio-1. The Bio-1 teams have begun work on the first round of projects that have been approved and some of the teams are now planning for the next round of transformative ideas. In July at the Workforce Innovations Conference in New Orleans, Aaron Fichtner, Director of Research and Evaluation for the Heldrich Center for Workforce Development and I presented a workshop on our Bio-1 metrics approach. Check out the articles below about Bio-1's new offices and new ways to connect with us. Visit our website at www.bio-one.org, and forward the Buzz.

Sincerely,
Mary Ellen Clark
Executive Director, WIRED Bio-1
