We hope you enjoy this month’s issue of Bio-1 Buzz, our monthly e-newsletter to connect you with news, events and programs throughout the WIRED (Workforce Innovation in Regional Economic Development) Bio-1 region. The fall is shaping up to be very exciting. Many of the projects from our first round are underway (and we'll keep you posted on their progress!). An open Request for Proposals for the next round of projects to fund will close on September 26th. On October 4th, the first annual NJ Biotechnology Educators Consortium Conference will be held at Monmouth University. Registration details are below. We are putting plans together for a second annual NJ Life Sciences Week November 17 -21st - a calendar of exciting events throughout the region to celebrate the Life Sciences community in our State! Please let us know if you would like to host an event at your organization during that week. This month's Buzz also features a Bio-1 Book Corner, where we've highlighted books from authors in the Bio-1 Community. We'd like to hear your book recommendations, too. Visit our website at www.bio-one.org, and forward the Buzz.
Sincerely,
Executive Director, WIRED Bio-1
