BIO-1 Buzz
                                                                            August 2009

Dear Bio-1 Community,

Welcome to the August Bio-1 Buzz, our e-newsletter to connect you to the Central New Jersey WIRED (Workforce Innovation in Regional Economic Development) region’s activities.  This month, we introduce an exciting new program to help build New Jersey’s bioscience industry workforce by putting our recent graduates to work! Learn about the New Jersey Commission on Science and Technology and Dr. Peter Reczek, the Commission’s Executive Director.  Check out the exciting hands-on environmental work of Perth Amboy High School students led by their teacher Rebecca McLelland-Crawley (Co-President, Biology Teachers Association of NJ).

New content is regularly posted on our Career Portal  and our new online forum.  Connect people with job opportunities - New jobs are posted frequently on our internship and job matching portal.   As always, please pass along the buzz.

Sincerely,
Mary Ellen Clark
Executive Director, WIRED Bio-1
