BIO-1 Buzz
                                                                                             February 2010

Dear Bio-1 Community,

Welcome to the February issue of the Bio-1 Buzz. We are excited to bring you our new searchable database of education and training resources and summer programs. If you are looking for any type of program in New Jersey, we've got them all in one place -- here is the link.
If you have a program that is not in the database, please let us know!

We are also pleased to show you new websites from two Bio-1 funded projects, both off to a successful start at bringing together thought leaders in their respective areas: Click here for the New Jersey Biotechnology Educators Consortium (NJBEC) and click here for the New Jersey Oceans & Human Health Initiative (NJ-OHHI).

Bio-1 has allocated funding for training for displaced employees from the biopharmaceutical fields. We've highlighted some of the workshops and programs that are eligible, and counselors at the local One Stop Centers can provide information on how to apply for the tuition funding.

Please visit our website www.bio-one.org to discover new job postings, post your resume, and to learn about free training opportunities for unemployed workers.

Sincerely,
Mary Ellen Clark
Executive Director, WIRED Bio-1
